Welcome to My World…

A naming ceremony is such a special and precious ceremony.

Joining together with family and friends to welcome and make lifelong promises to your child is a moment to treasure forever. The best naming ceremonies combine all the ceremony and spectacle you’d expect from a religious event, like a Christening, with the informality, joy and laughter of a really good family and friends get together!

Your naming ceremony can be whatever you want it to be.

The ceremony gives parent’s the opportunity to make promises, and declare their commitment and love to their child in front of friends and family in a happy and joyous celebration which can be held anywhere, at any time and include anything you wish for.

Naming Ceremonies can be traditional with religious elements. They can be modern and include tales of parenthood. They can be unconventional, heart-warming, funny or a beautiful blend of everything mentioned.

I love performing naming ceremonies!
They are always so meaningful and fun!

What does a naming ceremony include?

Welcoming your guests

… on the impact your child has had on your family and the story behind their name

… the challenges of parenthood and what being a new mum or dad means to you

…readings, music or symbolic actions

… made by the ‘Godparents’( guide parents/ mentors) Grandparents and parents

The ceremony

…the naming itself!

… and, of course, the Toast – to your newest family member

… any other elements you choose!
Because I only do one ceremony a day you will have no time constraints to worry about. If your ceremony overruns (there are children involved!) it’s not a problem.
I’ll create a fabulous naming ceremony that works for you and celebrates your growing family.
